Congrès annuel 2025 à Milwaukee (WI)
Join us in Milwaukee, May 14-16, 2025, for « The Future of Freshwater: Leading in the Face of Scarcity. » Globally, access to clean water has become one of the most pressing challenges of the 21st century, as diverse trends—from skyrocketing demand and constrained public budgets to persistent threats of pollution and flooding—converge to jeopardize water supplies, water quality, and ultimately, communities and people.
Accounting for approximately 20% of the planet’s freshwater, communities in the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River region are on the front lines of this challenge. At the same time, cities are tasked with doing more with less, while their residents face an affordability crisis. Municipal leaders across the region are championing the investments and innovation needed to preserve our most essential resource. Because when water is at risk, so are our economy, our health, and our future.
Don’t miss this opportunity to collaborate, innovate, and lead the way in addressing these challenges. Organized by the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence Cities Alliance, this conference will highlight the vital role local governments, industries, and innovators in the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River region play in addressing both regional and global water issues.

The basin is home to one of the world’s largest freshwater systems, and its stewardship is essential to the prosperity and health of our communities. As climate and economic pressures create new challenges for basin cities, we have a unique responsibility and opportunity to lead the management and protection of our freshwater resources.
This event will bring together experts who are innovating and implementing solutions on water management topics such as water consumption management, initiatives to protect our waters, and local flooding. All of this will be presented with a view to contributing to environmental stewardship, cost reduction for municipalities, sustainable economic development, and the health of our communities. Learn more about local success stories, connect with other municipal leaders, and discover strategies to strengthen your community’s resilience and showcase the region as a model of responsible freshwater stewardship.
