The Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Cities Initiative is hosting its next regional meeting, the Ontario Water Leaders Summit, on November 13, 2025. Hosted by Halton Region, this unique event will bring together more than 100 municipal, Indigenous, corporate, and environmental leaders from across the province to explore community-based solutions for strengthening our economy, climate resilience, and freshwater stewardship.

The 2025 Ontario Water Leaders Summit will bring together speakers and presenters for a day of learning, dialogue, and networking around a range of topics, including building up coastal resilience through collaboration, redeveloping waterfronts to reconnect residents to our waterways, and developing the Fresh Coast Economic Corridor throughout our region.
Together, we’ll examine how Ontario can leverage its Great Lakes advantage for sustainable economic development and how our communities can grow more resilient in the face of a changing climate and world of uncertainty.
