Cities Initiative Board of Directors 2026-2027

The Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Cities Initiative is a multinational coalition represented by two nonprofit corporations – one in the United States and one in Canada – each governed by its own Board of Directors. The boards provide governance and oversight while advancing the organization's mission to support member communities in advancing regional economic prosperity and protecting fresh water across the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River Region.

An Executive Committee, composed of directors from both corporations, provides strategic leadership and helps guide the organization's overall direction. The Executive Committee includes the Canada Chair, U.S. Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, and Past Chair. Responsibility for approving policy priorities and member resolutions remains with the Board of Directors of each corporation, ensuring that decisions affecting U.S. and Canadian members and matters of federal, state, and provincial engagement are made by their respective governing boards.
