Ontario mayor calls for coordinated action on coastal resilience from province, feds

ONTARIO, CBC News – September 5, 2023 – Tecumseh Mayor Gary McNamara wants to see upper levels of government launch a coastal resiliency study for the Great Lakes.  A southwestern Ontario mayor says the provincial and federal governments need to follow in the footsteps of the United States and initiate a coastal resilience study along the thousands of kilometres of Great Lakes shoreline in Canada.  Read article.
