David Goldwater

David Goldwater represents Stantec on the Industry Leaders Circle. As Senior Vice President for Public Policy at Stantec, David has consistently been one of the most influential advocates for economic transformation on both sides of the U.S.-Canada border. Based in Washington, D.C., and with decades' worth of experience in government affairs, David is a fixture in the spheres of Great Lakes business and policy. He has spent much of his career developing innovative and constructive ways to bring together business and government stakeholders in the service of common goals.

In 2026, David received the Anchor Award from the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Cities Initiative in recognition of his contributions to the vision of economic transformation.
