Ottawa Day 2017
Building the success of last fall's event, the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Cities Initiative, along with the Council of the Great Lakes Region, Freshwater Future, Stratégies Saint Laurent, and the Great Lakes Fishery Commission, are once again organizing Great Lakes and St. Lawrence Parliament Hill Days on November 21 and 22, 2017. The event brings together municipal, business, fishery, and non-governmental leaders from the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence region to discuss and advocate for shared regional interests.
During the event, the group will bring its Collaborative Vision and Framework Document to the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, the Honourable Catherine McKenna, and present it to MPs, Ministers, and Senators for buy-in. Please join the Cities Initiative and its partners at its second annual Great Lakes-St. Lawrence Parliament Hill Day Reception on Thursday, November 21 from 5 to 7 PM in the John A. MacDonald Building. For additional details, click here.
